Mateo alias Matthias Wisniewski born 1987 in Ozimek, is a successful graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. Already before his graduate year in 2013 he experimented with carbon fibers, epoxy resins and different techniques of applying them. Right after his studies the first collection has been produced, the constructive expressionism furniture. Further industrial and artistic design approaches followed; the Deco collection, LEDBRELLA, known hart/unknown soft collection, Sedia di karta, CHANDERELLA and further. Most of his work has been exhibited at renowned international platforms like the DMY Design Festival Berlin, Cologne Designers Fair, Design Week Milano/Ventura Lambrate, Salone Satellite Milano, Marta Herford and many more. The focus always relied on using poetical, emotional, unconscious thoughts, to achieve functional, durable and extremely resistant objects of daily and not daily use.
